When is worship?
We meet at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings at the Thoreau Center, 3500 Kingman Blvd., Des Moines, Iowa.

How long is worship service?
The worship service lasts from 10 a.m. to about 11:30 a.m., which includes adult discussion time following the minister’s message.

What programs are available for children and youth on Sunday mornings?
The children (grades 1-5) meet at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings, before worship, for Godly Play.

Is there a nursery available during worship service?
Yes, nursery is available every Sunday for children ages 0 to 5.

What should I wear to worship service?
Feel free to wear comfortable, casual clothes on Sunday.

What type of music do you have during worship?
Our musicians include a guitar player and vocalists, who lead the congregation in singing a variety of music, from traditional sacred songs to spirituals to contemporary songs.
